Emergency Medical Service (EMS) DIVISION
The Okolona Fire Department EMS Division provides 24-hour advanced life support emergency medical care to the citizens of the Okolona Fire District. The agency operates under a Class I ALS/BLS license from the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services. The Okolona Fire District currently has four Type 1 transport ambulances to provide service to the community.
The EMS Division's goal is to provide a premier emergency medical service to the community while being a leader in progressive service with aggressive, autonomous protocols and excellent equipment.
